This is a pre-owned Antique item being sold AS IS. Please read item description thoroughly and ask any questions prior to bidding. Thank you. LABEL: None Present ERA: Victorian Era FABRICATION: Silk with Lace and Velvet COLOR: Ivory with Golden Yellow and Black STYLE: 2pc Top with Dickie (for lack of a better word to describe the garment worn underneath the top) ~ Dickie has a rigid, banded neckline covered in lace and trimmed in black velvet and yellow velvet and has 3 hook and eye closures in back ~ The chest area is made up of dotted lace with black velvet striping ~ Rear hook and eye closures ~ Top is comprised of silk with the same dotted lace overlay ~ Hook and eye closures down center with lace overlay panel which hooks at left side top and bottom (hook and eye closures seem to be missing) ~ Ruffles trimmed in black velvet flank both sides of this appliqué accented panel ~ Wide open neckline with velvet collar and same floral appliqué accents ~ 3/4 length sleeves ending with a ruffled bell opening and black velvet lacing accents ~ Boned interior SIZE: Too small on top for even my Size 2 dress form--most likely equivalent to a modern XXSmall CONDITION: Fair antique condition ~ Silk is in delicate shape and shows splits and tears ~ Lace appears to be in very good shape with no holes or tears ~ I see no stains or dark marks anywhere ~ It is due to these flaws and the age of this garment that it is being sold AS IS for study, rehabilitation (if possible) and/ or repurposing
